Terms of use

These terms are between you and C2genix Enterprise, a business registered in Nigeria (CAC 9545570), which runs ThimbleKit (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using ThimbleKit, you agree to them. If you use ThimbleKit for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle data, and is part of these terms.

• You must be at least 18, and give us a real name and an email address you can reach.
• Keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens in your account, and in the workshops you own, including what your staff do.
• Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has got into your account.

Everything you put into ThimbleKit stays yours: clients, measurements, orders, photos and payments. You give us permission to store, process and show it only so we can run ThimbleKit for you, for example to show a tracking link or a showcase page.

You’re responsible for having your clients’ permission to keep their details and contact them, and for what you write on orders, tracking notes and showcase pages. You can download your records at any time from Settings.

Please don’t use ThimbleKit to:

• break the law, or help anyone else break it;
• post anything that is fraudulent, hateful, or that you don’t have the right to share, including other people’s photos;
• send spam or messages people didn’t ask for;
• try to get into other workshops, overload our servers, or copy the service.

If an account breaks these rules, we may pause or close it. Where we can, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to download your records.

• Free stays free. Pro and Business are monthly subscriptions, shown in naira or US dollars before you pay.
• Subscriptions are paid in advance and renew each month until you cancel. Payments are taken by our payment partner, which may appear on your statement and can add tax where the law requires it.
• You can cancel any time, from your account or by writing to [email protected]. Your plan carries on until the end of the month you’ve paid for, then your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted; you just can’t add more than Free allows.
• Refunds: if something went wrong, such as a charge you didn’t mean to make or a problem we couldn’t fix, write to us within 14 days of the payment and we’ll refund it. We don’t refund part months otherwise, unless the law where you live says we must.
• If a price changes, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before your next payment at the new price, and you can cancel before then.

ThimbleKit helps you record payments; it doesn’t handle the money. Payments go directly between you and your clients, and any agreement about price, deposits, delivery or refunds is between you and them. We’re not a party to it and can’t settle disputes.

We work hard to keep ThimbleKit running and your records safe. But we can’t promise it will never be interrupted or free of mistakes. We may change or improve features, and will tell you in advance before removing something important.

ThimbleKit is provided “as it is”. As far as the law allows, we’re not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost business, arising from your use of it. Where we are responsible, the most we’ll owe is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can’t be limited.

You can stop using ThimbleKit at any time and delete your workshops; deleted workshops can be brought back for 30 days, then they’re erased. To close your account entirely, write to [email protected]. We may close accounts that break these terms, as described above.

We may update these terms as ThimbleKit grows. For important changes, we’ll tell account holders by email before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where ThimbleKit is run. If you use ThimbleKit as a consumer, you also keep the protections the law where you live gives you, and nothing here takes them away.
